About

Welcome to jeflin.net. Jeflin’s Investment Blog is devoted to sensible, practical and safe investing in the stock market.

Though I am not a financial analyst, I have been a retail investor in the local stock market for years. Currently, I am invested in several blue-chips, like SIA, SembMarine and UOB These stocks have performed well for me and provided attractive yields over the years. I have added SMRT and Suntec Reit to my portfolio since 2010.

I believe in long term investments, especially amid the uncertain economic climate. You will not find any get-rich-quick schemes here. Nor will you find multi-level marketing fads or hot stock tips.

In this blog, I share my thoughts about the stock market and I will like to encourage discussions about the fundamental analysis from readers.

Any advice dished out here is not to be taken as gospel. If anything, you should just remember one thing from Warren Buffet, the most successful investor in the world – “Make your own mistakes.” When it comes to your own investments, you should be doing the same. Study the numbers and form your own conclusions.

Financial education is an ongoing process and nobody can profess they have mastered the art of making money in the stock market. I read voraciously on investing books and personal finance articles around the web. The best form of investment is in yourself and you should do likewise.
