Thanks for visiting this blog. If you find the content interesting, you may want to subscribe to my RSS Feed. That way you’ll always stay up to date with what’s happening here at Jeflin’s Investment Blog. If you aren’t sure what all the cute orange buttons (RSS) are for, read on…

RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication and it offers certain advantages to bookmarking a site and visiting it everyday.

1. You can log-in to your reader and skim through all the blogs you have subscribed from any computer with an internet connection. If you are at home, it doesn’t make a difference but when you are in a public place, you cannot access your bookmarks since they are saved in your personal computer.

2. You don’t have to return daily to see if your favorite sites have been updated with current articles, pictures or videos. Any update will be captured in your reader. If you follow hundreds of blogs in a few hours, you will appreciate this function.

3. The delivery is free so why not use it?

Now that you know what RSS is for, I will recommend two FREE feed readers, Google Reader or Bloglines. They are among the most popular and user-friendly. You can set the reader to retrieve automatic updates from multiple sites, allowing you to read new articles from those sites all in one place. The reader also gives you the option of visiting the site or you can access all articles right there in the reader’s window.

Just sign up at Google Reader or Bloglines and then subscribe to Jeflin’s Investment Blog. Easy as ABC right?
